A Palace Remembered
In 2006, Maharaj Kumar Vikram Singh faced a choice: sell his family's ancestral Jaipur palace to developers or find a way to honour it. He chose a third path — transform it into the region's finest heritage hotel while preserving every arch, fresco, and courtyard exactly as his great-grandmother had known it.
That first property, Jai Mahal Palace, opened to immediate acclaim. Guests didn't just want a room — they wanted to understand Rajasthan, its culture, its food, its music, its spirit. Within five years, Vikram had acquired and restored five more properties across the state's most beloved destinations.
Today, Vasundhara Hotels is a collection of six distinct luxury properties united by a single belief: that true hospitality is the art of making a stranger feel that they have come home to a palace they always deserved.
